Purpose of This Form

The following is a checklist to help determine whether a particular project/product is subject to the export control jurisdiction of the State Department's International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Commerce Department's Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

NOTE: This list is not designed to allow Cisco personnel to self-determine, but rather, is a tool to allow the technical and marketing staffs to better communicate with Global Export Trade resulting in better product understanding and more accurate commodity jurisdiction determinations.

For each new product/project that Cisco develops, please provide answers the following questions:
